Outfit #1: Dress/shirt from Luna Boutique, handmade skirt, Forever 21 hat.
Outfit #2: Shorts and tank from Luna Boutique, Zara heels.
I took a break from behind the camera and did a little photo shoot with my friend Noor. Life has just been a whirlwind of shoots, work, working out, school, and any little social time I can fit in between. Those black scallop shorts are literally perfect with any top. I just wish the weather would warm up so I could put them to good use!

Forever 21 top and socks, Old Navy sweater, vintage Calvin Klein shorts, Urban Outfitters loafers.

I finally got a simple pair of loafers! Such a great, basic find. This was before a chilly morning of class, but of course, I went against the grain and wore shorts... Adding the socks along with the loafers was something a little different, but a nice touch.

My friend's shoes from the photo shoot this weekend. My favorite part of another person's outfit is what they have chosen as their accessories.

H&M flower wrap, vintage Calvin Klein shorts, Forever 21 hat.
Had a photo shoot in Balboa today and finally got a chance to wear shorts in this gorgeous weather. This cover up was such a great find and H&M. $15? How could I turn it down?

Top and shorts from Luna Boutique, socks from Forever 21, heels from Zara.

So excited when this pair came in the mail last week. I'm sure I'm at least 6'3 with them on, but who cares. I've also been adding pops of neon to my outfits and it's a nice change from the normal grey and black.

Sweater from Luna Boutique, Forever 21 scarf, vintage watch.
This week has been filled with research papers, group projects, work, and cold weather! I doubled up on the knits for this outfit, and it was extremely comfy. I can't wait for warm weather to be here again. I'm looking white as snow...

Frances: Dior sunglasses, Marc Jacobs watch, Tory Burch bag.
Me: Flea market sweater, Urban Outfitters watch.
It might be hard to notice, but I went a little darker brown on top, and according to Fran, "we match." Frances and I agreed today that while she likes to invest in more expensive purses and jewelry, I end up buying them cheap because I get tired of things in a matter of months. I already hate everything in my closet.

Vintage jean jacket, H&M shirt, Inglot red lipstick, Forever 21 rings, Urban Outfitters wrap watch.
Had a productive day today: had a photo shoot in the morning, cleaned my entire room, got much needed shopping done, and met friends in downtown Huntington Beach. I am in love with the new watch I picked up today from Urban Outfitters and I am definitely considering starting a collection. My outfit was inspired by the new vintage lookbook out by Nasty Gal.

H&M shirt, skirt from Fashion Young, cuff from Forever 21.
Just a simple ensemble for a trip to the mall. That cuff literally goes with everything.

Kiersti: Urban Outfitters sweater, Luna Boutique tights, purse, and head-piece, hand-made tooth ring.
Lianne: Jacket from Luna Boutique, Roxy scarf, Urban Outfitters jeans.
Finally made our trip to the Annenberg Space of Photography. The whole display was truly inspirational and eye-opening. It definitely sparked some new ideas for future photo shoots.
I forgot my camera so thankfully my iPhone is an awesome substitute! My blog is starting to become a catalog for Luna Boutique... By the way check out the cool tooth ring Kiersti's boyfriend made her... maybe a future DIY idea??

breaking dawn

Sweater from Luna Boutique.
I know this strays away from my usual fashion themed posts... but I can't get over how excited I was/am for the Breaking Dawn premiere last night! I have to say I went in to the theaters with low expectations because, let's be real, the acting is pretty bad (and I really just like to go to see Rob :D). And actually I was pleasantly surprised! The makeup looked very good, Kristen actually looked gorgeous the first part of the movie, and my favorite was how they incorporated the original Twilight soundtrack into this movie. Overall, the cheesy acting was kept to a minimum and special effects definitely made an improvement. The birthing scene was a little much in my opinion, but at least they pulled it off!
In other news, my new Rabito iPhone case is pictured and I was so excited to get it in the mail. That sweater is also new and will probably appear again in a better put-together outfit. I hope everyone enjoys their Friday!
