H&M flower wrap, vintage Calvin Klein shorts, Forever 21 hat.
Had a photo shoot in Balboa today and finally got a chance to wear shorts in this gorgeous weather. This cover up was such a great find and H&M. $15? How could I turn it down?
In honor of the current gorgeous weather this past week. January has been teasing us with a little hint of summer. And to celebrate, we can enjoy a break from black and white and wear a little pink and yellow.
Top and shorts from Luna Boutique, socks from Forever 21, heels from Zara.
So excited when this pair came in the mail last week. I'm sure I'm at least 6'3 with them on, but who cares. I've also been adding pops of neon to my outfits and it's a nice change from the normal grey and black.
This shot caught my eye today on tumblr. I just bought a hat and shoes similar to the ones in her outfit, so maybe I'll post something like it soon. That brick red is just the right color. Any other type of red would have changed the outfit.
Sweater from Luna Boutique, Forever 21 scarf, vintage watch.
This week has been filled with research papers, group projects, work, and cold weather! I doubled up on the knits for this outfit, and it was extremely comfy. I can't wait for warm weather to be here again. I'm looking white as snow...
Another trend that looks so crisp and put together is the white blazer. Paired with all black, stripes, cut-off shorts, or a short dress. Whatever way you prefer, you can't go wrong.
Along with my search for sunglasses is the search for a pair of clean, black loafers. It's unfortunate I look like a giant when I wear heels, therefore I always have to settle for some form of flats or boots. I need to move to LA were it's more socially accepted to wear heels everyday...
Models.com also did a post about the top campaigns of 2011. I chose my top three favorites. Lanvin was probably the most hilarious, while Versace is quirky and creative, and Calvin Klein never fails to be ultimately sexy.
These are the top female models of the year according to models.com. 1. Saskia de Brauw 2. Sui He 3. Candice Swanepoel 4. Kati Nescher 5. Joan Smalls 6. Zuzanna Bijoch 7. Hanaa Ben Abdesslem 8. Karlie Kloss 9. Fei Fei Sun 10. Arizona Muse
I would have to say my favorite is Arizona Muse, (1) I love her name and (2) she always has an infectious smile in most of her photos. I am glad to see more asian models are becoming so well-known.
I forgot to mention earlier, Happy New Year! Some of my new year resolutions are: try a new restaurant every month, post more to my blog, stop biting my nails, and continue to smile (:
Frances: Dior sunglasses, Marc Jacobs watch, Tory Burch bag. Me: Flea market sweater, Urban Outfitters watch.
It might be hard to notice, but I went a little darker brown on top, and according to Fran, "we match." Frances and I agreed today that while she likes to invest in more expensive purses and jewelry, I end up buying them cheap because I get tired of things in a matter of months. I already hate everything in my closet.
