So obsessed with maxi skirts right now... I even made one for myself! I'll be sure to wear it soon on a cooler day. I had my first day of school today at Cal State Long Beach, and it already seems like a bunch of work! But I'll make sure I stay on top of my posts!

Daniel and I took a little drive to Laguna and visited the Sawdust Festival since we had free tickets. It comes around every summer and is pretty much an artsy, expensive flea market. I tend to pay attention to the jewelry more than the art. Daniel bought me that cute little knotted gold ring that I haven't taken off since.

Handmade dress, Forever 21 blazer, belt, and ring. 
Are you getting tired of seeing photos from around my house yet (; I made this dress two years ago and I finally wore it again in the hot weather. I swear I would pair this blazer up with anything if I could!

If only I was shorter

It seem like the last days before school starts are just a dash of errands everyday. Tia and I hung out again today and she wore this dress that she just recently bought. I was excited at the time of purchase because it was also my size so I knew we could share it. However, when I tried it on today, it was way too short! This is when sometimes I wish I was shorter...

One of my favorite parts of living in Orange County are the secret beaches along the coast. This particular one has a gorgeous lookout point and in the spring there are little gold flowers all over the trail.  I spent some time with Tia today since I really haven't seen her in a week. We got lunch at the Rose Bakery Cafe and discovered raspberry lemonade. It was so refreshing! And to top the day off we got free dark chocolate with raspberry frosting cupcakes from Sprinkles...yummm

brea improv

Last night I met up with one of my best friends and went to the Brea Improv (getting free tickets is the best). She's filipino so the comedians of the night were called the Filipino Kingz, and they were without a doubt hilarious. My outfit was little more bohemian than I usually prefer, but it was definitely comfortable. I used to despise long dresses, but now that I caved and own a couple, I can't help but love them. They are such an easy, relaxed thing to wear and even though its just a big piece of stretchy fabric, I almost feel elegant walking around in them.

These dresses completely take my breath away. Each one is their own separate masterpiece. I can only dream of the day where I can use them in a photo shoot once I'm a famous fashion photographer...
